Why would I need a new medication review if I already have a Pillcheck report and Pharmacist Opinion Letter?

Modified on Mon, 5 Oct at 3:10 PM

Your genetics remain the same, but your health and medications can change over time. A new medication review allows our pharmacist to reassess your current medication list and therapy goals against your up-to-date pharmacogenetic report, which is stored in your Pillcheck account. This keeps your Pharmacist Opinion Letter relevant and actionable for your current situation. The value of a new review lies in applying the genetic data you already have to your health situation or prescriptions, especially if anything has changed since your last letter.

Consider a new review if:

  • You’ve received a new diagnosis or health concern
  • You’re adding or switching a medication
  • You’re not getting the results you expected from a current medication
  • You’re pregnant or planning to become pregnant
  • It’s been a while since your last review
